             飘窗玻璃厚度，应该选择多厚才是最好的呢？不少业主在选择飘窗玻璃的时候常常会对选择什么厚度而纠结半天。那么下面我们就一起来看看飘窗玻璃厚度该怎么选。       　　（1）飘窗玻璃厚度及用途：3--4mm玻璃，这种规格的玻璃主要用于画框表面。5--6mm玻璃，主要用于外墙窗户、门扇等小面积透光造型。7--9mm玻璃，主要用于室内屏风等较大面积但又有框架保护的造型之中。9--10mm玻璃，可用于室内大面积隔断、栏杆等装修项目。11--12mm玻璃，可用于地弹簧玻璃门和一些活动人流较大的隔断之中。15mm以上玻璃，一般市面上销售较少，往往需要订货，主要用于较大面积的地弹簧玻璃门外墙整块玻璃墙面。       　　（2）一般飘窗玻璃选用的都是钢化玻璃，这种玻璃具有两大特征:  首先是抗拉度和抗冲击能力都很强。此外，钢化玻璃不容易破碎，即使破碎也会以无锐角的颗粒形式碎裂，对人体伤害大大降低。   

             飘窗玻璃价格，这个不是一个定数。破窗玻璃价格要根据飘窗的大小、玻璃的种类、厚度以及有无特殊设计等因素来综合考量。此外，还要根据户型安装的难易程度等来适度增减工本费。所以我们不能一概而论的说飘窗玻璃价格是多少。       　　目前市场上的飘窗玻璃价格几百到几千不等，这个要根据自身的实际情况和户型、面积以及其它方面来合理估算飘窗玻璃价格。

             飘窗玻璃频开裂是什么原因？主要是由于天气以及玻璃的材质引起的。目前很多家庭的飘窗装的玻璃时钢化玻璃。钢化玻璃开裂则可以分为分爆裂和自爆两种情况。如果碎纹呈蝴蝶状，是自爆；如果是从钢化玻璃的周边开始破裂，则是爆裂，这可能是由于热胀冷缩或硬力碰撞等引起的。       　　钢化玻璃破裂主要是由于其本身存在瑕疵。玻璃在制作过程中有时会在内部残留一种叫硫化镍的杂质。钢化玻璃是由普通玻璃高温骤冷处理后制成的，在这一过程中，硫化镍的体积先是受热缩小，后又冷却膨胀，这使钢化玻璃内部出现很大的应力，这样的钢化玻璃通常会在制成后不久自爆，在极个别情况下，硫化镍恰好位于钢化玻璃中间，自爆就会延迟，最长可延迟到几年之后。而且钢化玻璃面积越大，自爆几率越大，一般来说，1.5平方米大小的钢化玻璃比较安全。
